THE COST OF KEEPING CAVIES! 
Please be aware that cavies are not cheap to keep, they need fresh veg daily, hard feed, hay, bedding and should be wormed regularly!
I keep around 40 pigs and my monthly feed requirements are;
4 Bags of Hard feed @ £10.00 per bag approx, 2 bags of ready grass @ £10.per bag, two bales of Hay £3.50 each best quality, 2 bales shavings £5.00 each,2 nets of carrots £2.00 each spring cabbages/celery £2.00 per day, vitamin c drops £3.45 per bottle plus wormers etc and this is just the basics! I also remove2- 4 large Ready grass bags of waste every week!THAT'S£100.00 per month! Please do think carefully before deciding to breed.
