Dogs do bite, it is very uncommon for anything other than a little warning nip, which as a groomer we tend to ignore, but just occationally you may be unlucky enough to come across a dog which means buisness.

The follow photos are a sequence , whilst the wound made by a canine dosen't look very big approx 2 inch it was deep and thankfully just missed my index tendon but i was hospitalized, and needed strong medication for the infection and pain and i had to pay the bill!

 i was bitten by a springer i hadn't even got the dog on the table, it just suddenly attacked without warning.............

   Day two after returning from hospital

Day 6 wound 'popped' and pus seeping out

more pus but pressure relieved and arm reducing in size, on heavy medication for infection.

It took several more weeks to heel  and was sore for months.But is now 'almost' as good as new!
